..1998 Ranger 487VS in Chicago, IL

1998 Ranger 487VS Commanche that has just been totally redone with new carpet, new batteries, new seat and a new powerhead. What happened to the previous powerhead was the vacuum switch on the motor got a hole in it which allowed the #2 cylinder to run lean, and it got hot and dropped the retaining pin out of the piston. So therefore a full rebuild was performed and different pistons were used that completely eliminated the possibility of losing the retaining pin. Also because of this 2 cylinder head temperature gauges were installed to monitor both cylinder heads. The new powerhead currently has about 5 hours on it and it runs super smooth and starts great.
