Construction Safety Manager-USACE in Chicago, IL

Aerotek is currently looking for a Safety Manager for a construction project in Rockford, IL. This is a USACE project doing ground up construction. The Safety Manager will be responsible for monitoring construction to ensure safety, working with contractors and employees to troubleshoot potential hazardous situations, coordinating and maintaining documentation and providing training and implementing safe construction site practices.Qualified candidates must have previous related new construction background. Must have a current OSHA 30 hour certification and an average of at least 24 hours of formal safety training each year for the past four years.
