Field Safety Supervisor in Chicago, IL

Currently Hayes Mechanical is seeking immediately to fill the position of Field Safety Supervisor. Candidates must have an educational background in Occupational Health and Safety. All candidates must have strong communication skills both verbal and written. Candidates must be proficient in MS Office software. Candidates normal work week will be 40 hours with exception to the spring/fall outage season to work 60 hours. Candidates should expect to travel to jobsites within the range of northwest Indiana to Northern Illinois and as far south as Central Illinois. Any travel out of the region described may be negotiated. Candidates should expect to report to the Corporate office located in Chicago, Illinois. The duties of the position include performing safety audits, inspections, and training under the direct supervision of the Corporate Safety Manager. Other duties required are ensuring all employees and subcontractors of Hayes Mechanical are in compliance with Hayes Mechanicals rules and regulations in the Corporate Safety Manual in addition to contract provisions, federal, state , local laws and regulations, and industry standards. Conducting accident investigations to determine root cause to prevent recurrence. The Corporate Safety Manager may assign any duties not listed above to aid the Corporate Safety Department.
