Business Development Analyst
Motivated, self-directed Business Development Analyst is needed to drive business development research and analysis for individual firm attorneys as well as firm practice groups as part of their overall business development plans. The Analyst researches markets, clients and competitors and performs analyses that assist the firm and attorneys in preparing for new business opportunities. Utilizing various research tools (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Lexis Atvantage, Pacer, etc), the Analyst pulls together highly focused search results and background data on prospective and current clients to leverage the firms expertise and improve penetration in key industries and market segments. The Analyst also compiles and documents representative work in all firm marketing and business development collateral including pitch and proposal documents, sales sheets and on the firm intranet and external website. Additionally, the Analyst assists with the firms legal directory and ranking submissions for various practice groups within the firm. The Analyst is a part of the Business Development department and works across all practices with all team members as well as works directly with firm attorneys. Successful candidates will have a strong interest in competitive and business intelligence research and how said research can be used to further a business goal. Must be extremely comfortable with writing and analysis and use of online research services. Further, successful candidates will be creative and results-driven and thrive in a team environment.
