Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager in Chicago, IL

Our client is a large Health & Welfare plan that markets exclusively to its members across the country. They have been in existence for over 50yrs, providing cost-competitive options with exceptional dedicated service that generates high levels of employee satisfaction. They are seeking a Senior Account Manager to work within a territory to retain all current groups and even add new groups that are not currently participating in the plan.Senior Account Manager, Employee Benefits Responsibilities• Work with the Director of Business Development to establish consultative relationships with groups to help them adopt and implement best practices in health and welfare benefit plan delivery.• Responsible for annual goals of increasing employee participation in plans offered through the acquisition of new groups and retention of existing groups.• Develop and execute sales and service strategies for all size groups responding to requests for quotes and analyzing all data to evaluate and complete the underwriting process.• Create, design, and prepare customized presentation materials to meet the needs of the group depending on size, qualifications, etc.• Develop and deliver presentations to groups' leadership and individual employees including, but not limited to, open enrollment, claim review, and legislative updates.Senior Account Manager, Employee Benefits Qualifications• Bachelor's degree is required, along with a min of 5yrs of background working with group employee benefits.• Additional professional designations such as CEBS is preferred.• Must possess strong technical background in Microsoft office suite (Ms word, Ms excel, Access) and industry related software.• Must be able to travel 25% of the time.• Multilingual in English and Spanish preferred.Please contact Chris Winterboer for immediate confidential consideration and additional information.
