Engineer - Quality - Metal Heat Treating - Chicago, IL Job in Chicago, IL

Major manufacturer of heat treated metal components and parts seeks at least 3 yrs quality engineering background in a manufacturing environment where heat treating operations are being conducted to maintain and improve current overall quality systems. Shall; ensure policies, operations, and procedures meet customer and industry quality requirement; manage the development of quality assurance and quality control programs; monitor quality using internal corrective action process and implement metrics to ensure that products are compliant; partner with Engineering and Operations to identify problem areas and trends and propose solutions; prepare for and assist with internal and external audits; and lead division efforts in obtaining new and additional quality certifications as required.
